Theology of Civics

About this Course

This course explores the theology of civics from a biblical worldview, equipping Christian educators and leaders to teach government and civic life with both intellectual clarity and spiritual integrity. Drawing from Scripture, historical foundations, and theological anthropology, the course helps participants understand how concepts like the image of God, human fallenness, justice, and stewardship shape civic engagement. Participants will examine the design of government, the rationale for civic education, and the role of spiritual formation in the classroom, ultimately seeing civics as an extension of discipleship and mission.
